Nuno Rafael was born on August 19, 1970, in Lisbon, where he still resides. He is a musician, playing guitar, and has made music his profession for many years. Since 1997, he has collaborated with Sérgio Godinho, starting with the album "Domingo No Mundo," and has been involved in all his subsequent works up to the present day, both as a musician and as a producer. He also accompanies Sérgio Godinho in his live performances and is the musical director of his band. In addition to this collaboration, Nuno Rafael was a member of Vómito in the late 1980s, then moved on to Peste & Sida and later to Despe & Siga, where Luís Varatojo was the vocalist for both bands. From 2004 to 2006, he joined the group Humanos, which brought unreleased songs by António Variações to the public. This group also included Camané, David Fonseca, Manuela Azevedo, Hélder Gonçalves, João Cardoso, and Sérgio Nascimento, achieving great success with many concerts. Throughout his career, Nuno Rafael has worked with numerous Portuguese singers and bands, including Susana Félix, Xutos & Pontapés, Dead Combo, Gomo, Peste & Sida, OIOAI, The Poppers, Maria Clementina, Virgem Suta, Dois Mil e Oito, António Zambujo, Bruno Vasconcelos, among others.
