Monika Raide (born Monika Järv; December 12, 1968) graduated from Põlva High School and in 1992 from the school music department of the Tallinn Conservatory. Worked as a French teacher at Tallinn Pedagogical University, coordinating the referral of students to French higher education institutions. Currently works as a translator in Brussels. The role of Mari in Leida Laius and Arvo Iho's feature film "Naerata ometi" (1985) remained her only screen work.
